The client required two neighbouring houses to be amalgamated into one creating a 7-bedroom family residence of 7,600 square feet. An extensive basement was installed underneath the entire ground floor, a new storey was added and the interior plan was transformed. The plot was completely refurbished, the properties were gutted whilst the facades were retained. One new central staircase provided a visually stunning vertical circulation core servicing all five floors.
