Mozart Terrace
Grade 1 listed Mozart Terrace, Belgravia
It was a pleasure to work on such a historic building dating from the early 1700’s. The project saw the transformation of a dilapidated and run-down house and garden into a beautiful light and airy perfectly finished family home. The clients who enjoy collecting art wanted a house to present their favourite pieces. The internal layout was dramatically improved and extended to the rear to provide the client with the space they required. The design included two new pavilions in the garden which were sympathetic to the context and took inspiration from an unbuilt historic Lutyens’s scheme while the landscape paid homage to the earlier design by Vita Sackville-West transforming the unkept garden into a wonderful entertaining space. The client was delighted with how the space reflects their family requirements perfectly.
